Let me tell you what feels awesome: saving a piece of a plant, and coaxing it to grow into a separate plant. AKA “rooting” aka “propagation”. This picture shows one of my current projects. A piece of a succulent fell off it’s mother plant, so I put it in a tiny vase with water, placed in in my kitchen windowsill for the past week. And voila! Look very closely at the right picture: it’s sprouting baby roots!!! Once the roots grow longer, I’ll put it into soil and hope it takes off into it’s own new plant. It’s the small things in life, party people!
